Played for Elsenham for nearly 15 years, have batted in a variety of positions (with varying success!),prefer coming in number 4 or 5, part time leg spin bowler.
Have the abilty to catch balls only Superman would catch..and drop balls only Stevie Wonder would miss!

I have played at elsenham since I was 5 years old. I am now 20. Good opening bowler with reasonable pace. I bat at about 6 or 7 quite a big hitter. Normaly score a good few runs quickly. Good in the field and enthusiastic.

Hello, my name is Matthew James Taylor. I am 16 years of age, and was born on the 20th of March 1993. My place of birth was Harlow. I believe the Mid-wife actually said "that is the most amazing looking child i have ever seen in my life". I played for Elsenham Cricket Club, under the leadership of Peter Fitzpatrick on Saturdays, and the infamous Josh Gleeson on Sundays...lol. I started playing cricket when I was 2 months old. I am a righthanded ambidexterous batsman and bowl right arm slowfastmedium. My famous Yorker bouncer takes many wickets, and in the field I am a keen scorer. In conclusion to this short snippet about my serious skills, sense, sensibilty, sensiblness and a lack of sense................. Cricket is just different gravy.
