Junior Section

The club has a thriving junior section with approximately 60 members. We're keen for the junior section to continue to grow, but we pride ourselves on ensuring that junior members get the opportunity to play as many matches as possible, therefore, we plan to keep the number of junior members to less than 100.

2020 sees the third year of All Stars Cricket aimed at 5-8 year olds. Last season we had around 25 attendees and this season this has grown to 31 children

Many of our older juniors play senior cricket for the club too. Currently 8 of the senior frst team and 5 of the second team have come up through our junior section and we hope this will continue.

For the 2020 season, we have entered the following competitions:

  • U15 Bardfield League
  • U13 West Essex League & Cup
  • U12 Bardfield League
  • U9 West Essex League

Our teams are managed by experienced cricketers, most of our managers and all of our coaches have ECB qualifications. Many of our coaches have ECB level 2. All our coaches and managers are CRB checked.

We have a girls section which we are keen to increase. Girls have a separate training session on a Friday night at Stansted Hall (see below). Girls can play in matches with boys and can play for age groups two years younger than their actual age.
