Match report A beautiful evening at the Hall saw Hall progress through the first round of the Davies Cup with a good victory against High Roding.

Hall started well by claiming three early wickets, two of which fell to the impressive Glassy. High Roding's No.3 came to the crease and oozed class before getting a leading edge off of Bousy which Ben did well to catch. Roding continued scoring run's at a good rate as Nick Dawson scored 63 and Townsend 32 not out at the end. High Roding finished up on 172 for 5.

A quick turn around and Hall started in positive fashion with Keefy and Ben both going off at a rate off knots. High Roding then tightened things up before the scoring accelerated once again. Keefy fell for 32 before Ben fell shortly after for 64, which included 6 maximum's. Jonesy and Harv's struggled with the fading light early on before Jonesy found his range with some brutual hitting, which brought about 5 maximum's in the end. Hall required 24 off the last two overs for which they reached with one ball to spare.

A great result for Hall in their first 20/20 game of the season.
