Match report Braughing handed out a severe thrashing to a young 2s team. Having lost the toss on a damp but drying wicket, the 2s were asked to bat. Hallsy and Dinners opened up, but with the ball not coming onto the bat they found scoring hard. The Braughing bowling was fast but a tad wild with the odd beamer bolstering the extras column. Once the opening pair was broken the wickets tumbled at regular intervals until a partnership between the 2 Lairds gave the score some sort of respect.
After tea, the wicket had dried out and the ball lost its shine. Without Browny the fielding seemed to lack a little energy and 2 drops went down early off Woody. Hallsy's early breakthrough gave brief hope, but Braughing never looked back after that.
