Match report Hall faced Newport in the league cup for the fourth consecutive year in a game played at Newport. Newport batted first and went for it from ball one. Reggie removed opener Powell in his first over and then had Hill well caught by Woody in the long off boundary. Willo claimed a wicket also as Hall made a good start in the field. Woody came on and got a wicket with his first legitimate ball being that of Fletcher and soon removed Ingham. Newport's very own Woody and 'Biscuit' built a good partnership before Glassy continued his fine 20/20 bowling form by removing both. Glassy got another 2 wickets to take his total to 4, and Baloo got a wicket during his economical spell. Newport finished on 125 all out.

A quick change around and Glassy and Baloo started well before Glassy got a leading edge when facing the impressive Burton. Ben and Baloo batted well together and both reached the 30's until Powell removed both within the same over. WIllo and Keefy went about chasing 50 from 5 overs and were up with the rate from the first two of the five overs. Willo was then undone by Baker's slower ball playing an awful shot with awesome bat speed. Lairdy and Keefy continued to the end and Hall finished up 6 short in their chase.
