O. Patmore gets his maiden First XI 5 wicket haul, as rain forced us to abandon the fixture shortly after the interval. 

On an interesting Potter Street wicket, skipper J.Talbot elected to bowl first. After a period of quick run scoring by their openers, the pitch began to claim wickets regualrly. This saw the Hall take 4 caught and bowled (must be some sort of record) and Potter Street and Church Langley ended up 149 all out, with O.Patmore taking 5 and A.Racey taking 3. 

We had hoped that R. McGurk (19*) and J.Beaumont (13*) could smash them off quickly, but in the 8th over of our innings the rain forced us to abandon the match. Both batsmen finished not out (despite Rory's best efforts), as the Hall ended 38/0.
